1. What type of items do the stores carry?

We carry a great line of men, women, kid and infant clothing, shoes, toys, linen, new and used furniture. We also carry a great selection of household items, electronics, jewelry and a lot more.

2. Where does Family Thrift get its merchandise?

We obtain a great deal of our clothes and merchandise through donations,liquidations and buy-outs. We then offer it to you, our customers, at unbelievably low prices.

3. How often does Family Thrift receive new inventory?

Family Thrift receive new inventory daily. Everyday, we add over 3500 pieces of merchandise to our inventory.

4. Does Family Thrift buy/consign usable items and/or clothing?

We only purchase merchandise from certain suppliers. We don't make purchases on consignment. But, our door is always open to making purchases from new suppliers.

5. What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash and all major credit cards.

6. Do you trade/barter?

No.

7. Do you have dressing rooms? …Am I allowed to try on your clothes before I buy?

Family thrift does not have dressing rooms but we offer a 24 hours exchange policy, so that our customers can get the right merchandise.

8. What is your return policy?

All sales are Final.

9. What does Family Thrift do with the stuff it can’t sell?

Family Thrift bales or bags the merchandise they can’t sell, and recycles it through the mixed rag process, or we reuse it by donating these items to people in need.

10. Do you offer a tax receipt for my donations?

Family thrift offers/gives a tax receipt for all donated items.

11. What type of donations do you accept?

We accept the items listed below:

• Clothing (men, women, children — All types and sizes)
• Shoes (Men, Women, Children — All kinds and sizes)
• Hair/Clothing Accessories and Jewellry
• Housewares, Glassware, Bakeware and other Household Items
• Books, CDs, DVDs, Vinyl Albums and usable Electronics
• Radios, TVs, Microwaves and small Appliances
• Washers and Dryers
• Furniture and Rugs
• Bedding Items
• Tools

12. How should I prepare my donations?

It depends on the item/s you are donating. For the most, if donations can be placed in bags or boxes, it will be faster to process them.

13. Do you accept cash donations?

No. But you can contact NCCS (The National Children's Cancer Society) to make cash donations. Visit www.thenccs.org

14. Is your business for profit or non-profit?

While Family Thrift stores are a for-profit business, we actively support NCCS (The National Children's Cancer Society), a non-profit organization that helps thousands of children with cancer and their families.

15. Are you hirig?

We accept applications on the first week of every quarter, and go through these applications when there is an opening position to fill. We call for interviews as needed.
