1. Your donation provides charities with much needed revenue meet operating costs, and fund their charitable giving programs . Although Family Thrift stores
are a for-profit business, we actively support NCCS (The National Children's Cancer Society). We pay our charity partners/vendors for your donations of gently used clothes, shoes, accessories, electronics, toys, books, furniture and other reusable household items.
2. Your donation is tax deducible. It is resold at your neighborhood Family Thrift store, and used to meet the needs of lower income families in the community. For tax purposes, when you drop off a donation at the Family Thrift Store, one of our customer service representatives will be happy to provide you with a receipt.
3. Your donations are the source of the merchandise we sell that supplies communities with low cost, quality resale items. They help recycling efforts and provide you with a fun shopping experience.
